A Bar I Want To Go To

I've shared this story before... about how for years when I was growing up next door to my Nannie... I would watch her shape her nails while sitting across from her at the kitchen table. She'd file and buff, apply a clear coat of polish and sometimes a light pink color. I was always envious of her nails and how they grew. Mine were short, small and I picked at them and sometimes would bite them!

I think that is why, today, in 2021 - I am amazed that I can now give myself a manicure! That's right... I've let my nails grow to a length that is perfect for me to handle. I no longer bite because they are covered weekly in a fun design or polish strip from Color Street!
