Holiday time brings an added element of busy to our schedules. That's why all parents can use a few quick but sure to please recipes for a family meal at home, entertaining friends or a gathering on the go. This recipe for Luau Pizza fits all the criteria. The Hood Sour Cream enhances and transforms this recipe from simple to spectacular. Hood Sour Cream isn't just for baked potatoes at your holiday feast, you can add it to this pizza for a base that has a creamy and cool taste when paired with the crushed red pepper flakes sprinkled on top. The prep time is minimal and using a pre-packaged crust means that it's ready in minutes to eat when you are. In fact, I suggest using those extra minutes and letting your child help in the kitchen just like mine did with the star cookie cutters!

Ingredients:

1 Pre-packaged pizza dough

1/2 block of cream cheese, softened

1 cup Hood Sour Cream

1 cup of marinara sauce

2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese

4 slices deli ham

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon basil

1/2 cup pineapple tidbits

Instructions:

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.

Mix cream cheese and Hood Sour Cream in a bowl.

Roll out the pizza crust on a greased pizza pan.

Spread the Hood Sour Cream mixture on top of the laid out pizza crust.

Spoon marinara on top of the pizza.

Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Cut ham into holiday shapes with cookie cutters and spread out on top of the cheese.

Shake seasonings over the top.

Top with pineapple.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Serve with a tossed salad and your favorite holiday beverage!
