1. What is your name? What is the name of your business?

My name is Ashley Batlle. My business name is Beauty Batlles Lounge.

2. What inspired/encouraged you to start your business? 

I realized there was a need in our community for an advanced beauty spa that offered the variety of services that I do under one roof. Then the idea of being my own boss and having the potential to grow with on myself was the inspiration I that made me move forward.

3. What do you love about your work?

Everything, I absolutely adore my clients and the connection I am able to form with them. I also love being able to think outside the box.

4. What advice do you have for others wanting to start a business?

Do it! It is not always the easiest decision to make, but as long as you have a proper plan in place and the drive to execute it, your success will have no limits.

5. What do you do to take care of yourself and how do you make time to do it?  

I try to be very accommodating to my client when booking their appointments,  but I am also very strict with my working hours so that I am always able to make time for myself and family.  As far as self care, I love going to the gym, getting my hair and nails done and going for a massage as well. If I am not able to take care of myself and feel good, how can I do the same for my family and clients?

My favorite go-to place is Goodworks Coffee Shop in Chicopee.
