1. What is your name? What is the name of your business?

Emily Quintin Carlson, We Do Disney Right

2. What inspired you/encouraged you to start your business?

I love to travel, I was very fortunate growing up, my Auntie Linda used to take me on a lot of trips to interesting places. We traveled to England, Scotland, and Iceland to name a few spots. She always told me how important it was to travel and to try to always save money doing it. Fast forward many years, Scott and I (both from families that LOVE Disney!) took our then 2-year old to Disney and we became obsessed with getting there without breaking the bank. Fast forward even more, I love writing. In addition to being a teacher in Wilbraham, I also have my BFA in Creative Writing and decided I was going to write about my experiences and tips and tricks to save people money and enhance their experiences when traveling to Disney World.

3. What do you love about your work?

After a year of blogging, I have developed some amazing connections and friendships and proudly saved people lots of time and money on their trips to Walt Disney World. I get to talk about, write about, and experience Disney, what's better than that?

4. What advice do you have for others wanting to start a business?

Advice: When something feels right, go for it. I was blogging for a year before I took the plunge and started an LLC. Taking a chance is the only way to stop procrastinating your maybes and make them possibilities.

5. What do you do to take care of yourself and how do you make time to do it?

For anyone that knows me, I'm a workaholic. However, I always make time to play with my two kiddos, cook dinner for my family, and workout. When you are doing something you love, it never feels like a job. That's how I feel with teaching, blogging, and becoming a Disney Travel Agent (or as I like to call it: experience expert!)
