Starting. Beginning again. Always trying despite all the failing.
I have chatted with friends over the years about so many diets and plans that it's hard to keep track of all of them. Most recently, I decided to explore the Whole 30 program because I knew it was similar to the 21 Day Sugar Detox program by Diane Sanfilippo that I had success with back in 2018. Diane was no longer promoting her plan and since I hadn't actually done an official Whole 30 I decided to learn what was going on in that realm.
I began to follow the Whole 30 Instagram page and that lead me to Laura Heath from Your Highest Self. Stop right here. Amen! Laura was posting all about the Whole 30 Group she was forming for May AND Emotional Eating tips. I immediately began to devour the information on her site and joined her Facebook groups. I watched her videos and noticed that my mindset was shifting.
I have always self-sabotaged. Blamed my surroundings for the failed diets and attempts I had at losing weight and getting fit. Laura was quick to reframe those thoughts. I was sold. I did her five day Sugar Detox, kept my food journal and just like my body remembered, I started to feel better.

When I am eating whole foods I have a positive shift in my mental health. The reason why I stop? Working on that. Self sabotage and a long history to process. Laura aims to teach others how to heal their relationship with food.
I'm now working on my first Whole 30 prep week and beginning to eat like I will when May 1 comes around later this week for the official start of the program. Follow me on Instagram @kellypramberger to see my journey. My desire is to live a life free of limitations.
